Thonnas Beta Terms

These Terms govern participation in the Thonnas Beta Program operated by Parfiam Labs.

By accessing or using the beta software, you agree to the terms described below.


Simple Summary

The beta program is for testing and feedback only.

By participating, you agree to the following:

  • Use it only for testing and feedback.
    The beta may be used for workshops, educational purposes, or personal non-commercial projects.

  • Do not build or contribute to competing products.
    Information learned through the beta must not be used to create or assist a competing business.

  • Keep details inside the beta group.
    Do not share framework details or business concepts with people outside the beta program.

  • Early participants may receive recognition or future perks.
    Parfiam Labs intends to recognize early adopters and may offer benefits such as discounts, recognition, priority access to new features, or enhanced participation terms in future services, including potential preferential economics for contributors participating in the ecosystem.


1. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms:

“Parfiam Labs”
Refers to Parfiam Labs and its affiliates, operators, owners, and licensors.

“Thonnas”
Refers to the software framework, command line tools, documentation, services, infrastructure, and related materials made available as part of the Thonnas Beta Program.

“Beta Program”
The limited testing program that allows selected participants to access and evaluate Thonnas prior to general availability.

“Participant” or “Party”
The individual or organization agreeing to these Terms and accessing the Beta Program.

“Confidential Information” includes, but is not limited to:

  • internal architecture or technical design concepts
  • operational approaches used by the system
  • product strategy
  • pricing approaches
  • marketplace concepts
  • roadmap discussions
  • internal documentation
  • beta-only features
  • non-public software components
  • communications from Parfiam Labs regarding the project

“Framework Details” refers to technical structure, architecture, system interactions, internal tooling concepts, and other non-public aspects of the Thonnas platform.

“Business Model Information” refers to non-public information regarding how the platform is intended to operate commercially, including but not limited to monetization strategies, marketplace structures, economic mechanisms, or commercial positioning.

“Competing Product or Service” refers to any software platform, framework, or marketplace primarily designed to provide substantially similar functionality or capabilities to the Thonnas platform.


2. Purpose of the Beta Program

The Thonnas Beta Program is provided for testing, evaluation, and feedback purposes only.

The Participant agrees to use the Beta Program solely for:

  • workshops
  • educational activities
  • evaluation of the technology
  • personal non-commercial projects

The Participant may not use the Beta Program for commercial production use unless explicitly approved in writing by Parfiam Labs.


3. Restricted Use

The Participant agrees that they will not:

  • use Thonnas for commercial services, products, or revenue-generating activities
  • attempt to copy, replicate, reverse engineer, or recreate the system or related technologies
  • attempt to bypass security or licensing controls
  • distribute or sublicense the beta software
  • provide the beta software to non-participants

Any commercial or organizational use requires explicit written authorization from Parfiam Labs.


4. Non-Competition

During participation in the Beta Program and for 12 months following the end of participation, the Participant agrees not to intentionally use knowledge gained from the Beta Program to create or contribute to a competing product or service.

This restriction applies to activities such as:

  • building a competing platform
  • contributing development work to a competing platform
  • founding or operating a competing platform

This clause is intended to prevent the use of confidential insights gained during the Beta Program to create competing technology.

It does not restrict general employment or participation in unrelated projects that do not involve the development of a competing product or service.


5. Confidentiality

The Participant agrees to maintain the confidentiality of all Confidential Information, including:

  • Framework Details
  • Business Model Information
  • documentation
  • beta features
  • architecture discussions
  • internal communications
  • technical approaches used by the system

The Participant agrees not to disclose this information to any individual or organization that is not an authorized Beta Program participant.

Confidentiality obligations remain in effect for three (3) years following the end of participation in the Beta Program.


6. Early Adopter Program

The Thonnas Beta Program is intended to involve a small group of early adopters who are interested in helping shape the future of the platform.

Participants are encouraged to provide feedback, report issues, and share suggestions that may influence the development of the product.

Parfiam Labs intends, at its discretion, to recognize and reward early participants in future versions of the platform. These recognitions may include:

  • acknowledgements or recognition within the product or community
  • early adopter status or badges
  • discounts or promotional access to future services
  • priority invitations to future testing programs
  • preferential economics or participation terms for contributors in future ecosystem services

These potential benefits are not guaranteed and remain at the discretion of Parfiam Labs.


7. Product Evolution

The Participant acknowledges that the Thonnas platform is under active development.

Components of the system may change significantly before general availability, including but not limited to:

  • system architecture
  • command line interfaces
  • APIs
  • module structures
  • component interfaces
  • installation mechanisms
  • marketplace functionality

Backward compatibility is not guaranteed during the Beta Program.

Participation in the Beta Program does not guarantee continued access to the platform or future versions.


8. Feedback

Participants are encouraged to provide feedback regarding the Beta Program.

By submitting feedback, suggestions, or ideas, the Participant grants Parfiam Labs a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, modify, incorporate, and commercialize such feedback without obligation to the Participant.


9. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property rights in the Thonnas platform remain the exclusive property of Parfiam Labs.

Participation in the Beta Program does not grant the Participant any ownership rights in the platform, framework, or related technologies.

Participants agree not to use insights gained from the Beta Program to develop competing intellectual property.


10. Telemetry and Usage Data

The Beta Program may collect limited diagnostic and usage data in order to improve the platform.

This data may include:

  • installation activity
  • command usage patterns
  • error reports
  • system diagnostics
  • download and access logs

By participating in the Beta Program, the Participant agrees to the collection and use of this information for the purpose of improving the product.

Parfiam Labs will not intentionally collect personal data unrelated to the operation and improvement of the Beta Program.


11. No Warranty

The Beta Program is provided “as is” without warranty of any kind.

Parfiam Labs makes no guarantees regarding:

  • functionality
  • stability
  • reliability
  • security
  • performance
  • fitness for a particular purpose

The Participant acknowledges that beta software may contain bugs, incomplete features, or unexpected behavior.


12. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Parfiam Labs shall not be liable for any:

  • indirect damages
  • loss of data
  • loss of business
  • loss of revenue
  • system failures
  • security incidents

arising from participation in the Beta Program.


13. Termination

Parfiam Labs may terminate participation in the Beta Program at any time, with or without cause.

Upon termination, the Participant must:

  • cease using the beta software
  • delete any copies in their possession
  • cease distribution of related materials

Sections relating to confidentiality, non-competition, intellectual property, and limitation of liability survive termination.


14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.


15. Acceptance

By accessing the Thonnas Beta Program, downloading the software, or clicking an “I Agree” checkbox associated with these Terms, the Participant acknowledges that they have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this agreement.
